I like my C6 just the way the General made it.

I've been driving a 06 trailblazer (rental) and the first thing I noticed is as soon as you turn the key to the on position, the electronics take over.

I can appreciate your problem. In addition to getting Fob Not Recognized, I could not get the car started at all. The car had 171 miles on it. I am very frustrated about this and I am returning the car to the dealer in order to correct this situation. Nobody wants to get stuck in the dead of the winter, no matter how cool the technology is, if it does not function properly. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please let me know.

Default This could happen to you!

I went out to my car and opened the trunk with the button and threw my brief case in and closed it up. Went to the door and "where is that fob?" You guessed it, in the brief case and I had tossed it too far in for the receptors to aknowlege. Luckely, I had placed the key to the trunk compartment under the car for just this type of problem. I also keep a spare battery for the fob in it. I did get my nice pink shirt all dirty but I was able to drive and not walk home.
