Default A Silver GM Badge?

I stopped by a dealership to check out Vettes. They had an '06 and I noticed the badge. It wasn't blue with silver lettering like I've seen in some pics. It was all silver, no blue.

Anyone else noticed this?

Is only double-sided tape, or any hole underneath?

Default GM badge

I've had my car for 1 week now and I never really notice it. They put it in the least visible place and it really doesn't stand out. That said, for me it's just a monogram.

It's only double sided tape, no hole underneath. When I got mine it was one of the first things my eye was drawn to so I knew they had to go. That's just my opinion though.

I don't think I mind it in Silver. In blue it stands out in a bad way, to me.

The main point of this is, are they offering it in other colors too? What determines a blue or silver one?

AnotherYellow, any info?

Hardly noticeable on my machine silver. I'll leave it on the car.

It's funny how most '06 owners are taking them off, but we had a guy in our monthly C-6 GTG put one on his '05...

Just a little leftover sticky tape residue...but nothing that some more heat and some peeling didn't fix...after that I just buffed the area with some wax and it looked as good as gone

I'm going to remove mine and sell them to someone with an '05. I'll have to add a "market adjustment" to the price of course.

Thanks perfect...and you know what, there is someone out there that will probably buy it, no matter what it costs. Look at all the over priced mod crap that all of us have bought!!!

Stock up on them while you can! Don't sell them or give 'em away - think about it....in 30-40 years people will pay top-dollar for OE GM badges that people are ripping off left and right for 'factory stock restorations'.

As for the color - at Road Atlanta in April the 06 Vettes on display had the blue/silver GM badges. On my recent trip to the plant I also noticed they were now all silver and were not nearly as noticeable. My guess would be they changed them so they wouldn't be so noticeable or clash with the vehicle color. Who knows....

Yeah that badge is just horrible, I can't believe people actually leave those stupid Pininfarina badges on their Ferraris too.

I have no problem with the tiny GM badge personally.

If you take the badge off, and swap your Bullwinkle for a Doughboy, you'll have an '05.

First year of the C-6, very rare, bla,bla,bla......

My GM badges are hereby for sale: The first $450 offered gets them both.

People take stock emblems off and stick on aftermarket bling
