I know- it's a "go figure," but not everyone wants a full-size V8 that's a Mopar.

Like shortening the car more and improving more useable storage space in the interior. Make it so we have better visability looking out over hood and in the rear when backing and when parking. It is still better in this prospective compared to the older corvettes but nonetheless it can still improve more.

That is a new community of homes in Valencia, Ca. It is across the street from where I live. The lake is actually a reclamation lake.
The developers built houses on it, one on top of the next, no yards, but near "the lake". The home values have almost doubled since they were built about 6 yrs ago.
When they were built I was wondering, who would want to buy a house on a reclamation lake. Shows how much I know about real estate!
I should have bought one on spec and sold it! Damn.... if only.....

We bought a place in Payson Az. [90 minutes north at over 5000 ft. in the pines}on the same kind of lake. It's really nice; fishing electric and sail boats only. Same thing , in 3 years prices have doubled! Fortunately, I pulled all of our stock money out six years ago and bought six residential rental properties. Smartest[Luckiest] thing I ever did. Real estate in the Phx. area has gone throught the roof following the trend in Ca. There are quite a few upscale communities in the phx. area with lakes that weave through the housing areas. They even have boat docks behind many of the homes. It's all man made of course but is pretty cool. I could'nt afford to replace my house in Phx. If I moved to most of California. That was a great background for your nice ride.

Default Great Car Great Value

We had a 2003 BMW 745. Was in the shop more times than not. When the windshield wipers fell off for the 3rd time we got rid of that lemon. Our 2005 C6 A4 has been so reliable we have ordered a 2006 A6 Vert so we both can drive one.

Wild. My folks wouldn't buy a place on Westlake (with private boat dock) decades ago because they couldn't see people paying $175000 for a friggin' condo. They bought in Mission Viejo instead.

The Japanese already cornered the "good but boring" market- there's nothing GM or Ford can add to that conversation.

Very true I have both and each is a different animal I like the stealth and getting less attention in the GT whereas the C-6 people keep botherin me asking me all these questions or stare at me and the car..make me nervous... But I like the ride height better in the GT 5.0 and the fact it is a much easier car to work on especially in 1988 and this one has 204,000 miles and climbing so it passes the durability longetivity test with me.
Corvette a much better balanced car more power and better safer handling. Yet with all of that technology in this awesome C-6 is intimidating should you end up with problems/gremlins. and very $$$
Is the solid live rear axle is more durable than the 4 wheel independent suspension? At alignment time you pay double for the Vette. The rears on the Mustang don't adjust.
Mustangs are very dangerous in the handling department 5.0 back in the 80's especially when it rains unless you like to do 360's which is so easy in that car.
They made the most 5.0 GT's in 1988 and today there are not that many left as they have or most of them have been wrecked and taken alot of abuse.. that 57/43 weight distribution is not good especially with those wide tires makes a disaster waiting to happen when the road is wet not just raining as I recall driving through some sprinkers losing traction or taking off from 1st very slowly with the rear starting to fishtail. Real scary.. This is the 5spd. I'm refering to with 3.08 gears mine has 3.55's. I have never owned a automatic 5.0 but have driven them and for some reason they feel safer in the turns perhaps rented one for 1 to 2 weeks that 2.73 rear end. The 3.27 rear end was an option and perhaps this may have something to do with it in the automatic less power in the auto so less potential of disaster. All of these Mustangs are factory stock no mods. If you don't launch the 5 spd. right you will just stay there burning rubber going no where.
California Highway Patrol used them for at least 10 years
So I say it is great to have them both

Thanks for the compliments.

Next time you decide to invest in something, let me know!
Damn, if only I had your foresight in the real estate market.
It's great that you read it right and had the tootsies to buy some property. Good call on your part!

I know what you mean. Who would have thought years ago that property out here would do what it is doing.
I am sure that they like Mission Viejo too. It is a beautiful community.
