Default Where to find values of used 2005 Vettes?

I've looked on Kelly Blue Book and NADA but they don't have used 2005 prices listed. Where can I find current market prices for used 2005s?

Thanks in advance,
Rick in Tennessee

Default Oh man, what a hit!

I was able to determine the value of a used 2005 coupe on Edmunds.com. According to them (Edmunds.com), if you bought a 2005 Vette and paid $52,000 for it, it is valued at $38,000 on a private sale (1SB 5000 miles in perfect condition). That is a 26% loss in your intitial investment! What a hit!

You can go to Autotrader.com for what's available nationwide. About 900+ of them with an average asking price of $49k+. The anticipated C6 production slowdown might affect the number of used C6's available. Good luck.

Default Galves Auto Price List

I have been pricing new leftover 2005 convertible models.
I too was curious as to what the used value would be once I drove it off the lot.
This is what Galves reports on the same car, with only 10 miles on it, as well as the value of various options.

2005 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
Engine Type: 6.0L V8
Body Style: CONVERTIBLE

Standard Features:
ABS STD
ALLOY WHEELS STD
DUAL POWER SEATS STD
DUAL ZONE AUTOMATIC AC STD
LEATHER STD
POWER WINDOWS STD

Base Price: @ 7,000 miles $46,500
Mileage: 10
Mileage Adjustment + $1,800
ADD: 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION + $1,100
ADD: POWER ROOF + $1,000
ADD: Z51 PERFORMANCE PKG + $800
ADD: NAVIGATION + $700
ADD: ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION + $500
ADD: CD CHANGER + $500
ADD: CHROME WHEELS + $500

So a car that has an MSRP of $62,805, invoiced at $55,866, is valued at $51,300 once it it sold and titled.

Interesting to note, onstar, xm are not listed.

The only component of the peg that has value is the cd changer radio.

RPO Z51 brings a higher return then RPO F55, given same price.

Manual transmission is substantionally higher than automatic transmission, given same price.

Power top, navigation, and polished rims return 50% or less.

I would also try your local bank as well. They should have an idea of some of the true figures they are financing

Default Loan Values, are they a real guide line?

I'm thinking that what a bank will loan is a good guide but most will loan above loan value, driven at 70-80 percent of retail value. Perhaps that,
is close to loan value!

Default values

If you can't find anything on the net, then look in your backyard.See what they are selling for,miles/condition,etc.There was an 05 auto here in ny w/8k miles for 46ish which tells me they gave around39-42ish in trade, the car was loaded.Whatever you paid for yours, deduct around 5 grand off of that for immediate depreciation, then your mileage!
