Am considering the purchase of a C6 and I've noticed that all the NAV unit's offered on cars like the Acura, BWW, MB, Lexus etc are all Bluetooth and hands free cell enabled. Does the C6 NAV unit have these features? I know it doesn't have an iPOD interface as well, I can live with that, but I want my cell phone to interface with the car..
Can they be added easily/cheaply? If not I'll skip that option.
Thanks folks, I consider this a safety as well as a convenience feature. I’ll skip it for now while I'm out looking for an 06, but should I hear that the 07 will have these features before I pull the trigger I’ll hold off buying a 06.
don't think the bluetooth has much to do with NAV. Today it is used mostly for cell phone connections to cars and some do connect it to phone book on car or on NAV. At least the BMW's that have bluetooth don't have to have NAV.
GM wants to sell you Onstar. Bluetooth phone support will kill Onstar. I doubt we'll see bluetooth phone support in GM cars until every ones phone had bluetooth and they absolutely have to offer it.

I just checked the Cadillac web site and it seems they offer a 15 speaker Bose 5.1 audio system with Bluetooth connection with their NAV system. Oh and it plays DVD's in PARK.
So it appears Chevy opted for a lessor NAV system for the vette. Pitty, if you're going to offer a nice piece of high tech gear, it should be the best you offer.
