Default Sequential Tail Lights

Has anyone on the forum purchased and installed sequential tail lights from Zip Products, and do they function well?

I got ours from:

http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm

They are a bit cheaper there if I remember right. They are very simple to install, just plug and play.

This with the 44 LED high light ought to really be an attention getter.

I did both on mine as well and really like the look it gives, not to mention the added safety of the flashing third brake light.

Note that the webelectric turn signals are through 2005 only, unless they have changed them. My November 2005 built C6 had a different connector then what they ship for the 1997 - 2005 models. I had to return it.

Does this mod void the new car warranty?

Not that I'm aware of; I installed the system myself about 2 months ago and it is GREAT!
It only took me about 5-10 minutes per side(or light as only 2 of the 4 lights are actually involved).
GREAT MOD-GO FOR IT!

I installed both the sequence blinker module and the third brake light flasher. It took a total of 15 minutes to complete and everything works great. The flash of the third brake light really gets attention and the sequenced blinkers are also nice. One side benefit on the sequencer is when the emergency flasher is used. The tail lights still sequence and it give the car a unique look when all the light are flashing.

Yup. Got them from web electrics. They work great. PS - they look sharp when they are in 4-way flasher mode too.

So did my 1968 Cougar. It had a little motor that spun around to trigger the flashing sequence. Solid state - Blahhh.

I like the idea of the third barke light flasher, but from their website it looks like the sequentials flash so close together with only two lights that it's hard to tell that they aren't flashing together.

No, they are very distinguishable when the kit is installed.
