I just got back from a week in Las Vegas and for three days had the best of all times!!! My brother and I were at the Spring Mountain Level 1 Three day class from 1 to 3 May. What a great time we had!!! Everyone associated with this program is Outstanding!! We had the opportunity to do things and learn things that it is really impossible to experience outside of this type of environment. We were able to drive several different cars from the C5 ZO6's to the C6 ZO6's (they have 7 brand new C6 ZO6's - WOW what a machine!!) The differences in each car were very evident but each car had it's strong points. We had five or six sessions of open laps were we were able to really test our new skills. All the instructors (Dave, Victor, Jordan, Justin, Kenny, and Barry) were eager to help, always ready to answer questions, and always there to tell you to get your hand of the shifter and on the wheel!! If any of you are thinking about taking the course, think no more and go, it is well worth the price of admission!!! I hope to go back soon and take the Level 2 course!!
Spring Mountain ROCKS! I have some new videos coming very soon. I've been pretty slammed lately due to a software deadline, but the new videos will be worth the wait.

Thanks Spring Mountain!!!
I was there too (Hi Kevin & Kim), and agree wholeheartedly.
The Spring Mountain experience is simply GREAT.
The preparatory exercises including cornering, braking, heal and toe braking/downshifting, etc. are valuable whenever you get behind the wheel. Other seemingly unimportant items like seat postioning, gripping the steering wheel and gear shift ***, and using visual scanning and peripheral vision are also very worthwhile. Dinner at the Pahrump Winery is also a good experience.
If you can work this excellent program into your schedule, don't hesitate to go.
I think the fastest non-ZO6 time was TA in the paddle shifter. That one I didn't try. I still have a huge on my face from the experience. I'll bet many of us went home and changed the seat memory; I know I did. My classmate Craig went back to St. Louis and was talking to a Chevy salesman about the ZO6 (they had "the only" Z in St. Louis, at 12K over MSRP of course), and the salesman asked him if he had ever driven one. When Craig's response was "Actually, I jsut drove one over a 3 day period on a racetrack at about 120 MPH", the guy's jaw hit the floor.
