I bought this for my Z06, and it works great but am not sure I understand how to activate the additional functions.
The instructions say: "To configure bonus features 1 and 2, press the driver's door panel 'unlock button quickly six (6) times. The tachometer will move to 1 krpm and the speedometer will either read 30 mph or 0 mph depending on whether or not the first feature"
I've tried this a few times and am not getting any results. Does the car need to be running, or in Accessory mode, or neither? When I press the inside door panel unlock 6 times, nothing happens.

Got one of these on my BMW and down south it’s the next best thing to grits. This is on my short list for my vette. Let’s do a group buy for $89.99 to celebrate Mother’s Day or Father’s Day or any day in May.
I had one of these on my C5. Cool little gadget. When I sold it I forgot to tell the buyer about it. One day he calls me, wondering why the windows lower themselves...
Very handy in tight parking spaces. I'm saving up to buy one for the C6.
I have had one on my c5 for years and it's the best investment I have made on my corvette. makes it so much easier to get in and out of the car when the windows down. and when dealing with taking the top off and on.
I got my Window Valet Monday & I dont know why I waited so long to order one. Well worth the money, IMO.
Although I really like the WV, I find that on my '05 I have the issue that a couple others here have reported.
When the windows roll up or down it is not in one smooth motion. It seems to start & stop in a jerky movement until the process is complete. The windows never actually stop, but the movement is not smooth at all. Also, the Bose nav display cycles off & on with each of these window "pulses"
I saw others mention this but I was unable to find a post mentioning the fix, if any. I tried pulling & replacing the WV several times to ensure proper seating but no change.
I can certainly live with this, but I would feel better about this behaviour if I heard from others that it's normal.
This is the one "cosmetic" problem that could not be solved with the early C6's. It happens on only a few C6's and we delayed the initial product launch by about 6 months trying to make it go away. It's very benign and does not hurt anything. the Window valet can see it before it happens and knows that the C6 is going to disable accessory power, so we stop the windows, re-enable power, and then start them up again immediately. It won't hurt anything, but does look annoying to the customer. it seems to only happen on some of the pre 2006 C6's...very few, but some.
for some reason the C6 tries to **** off accessory power and the valet has to turn it back on. Once back on, the C6 does not try to turn it off again after the valet takes control.
We only see this issue on a handful of early cars, but it still exits and we hate it
Good question....

Was away for a couple weeks and just saw your reply today.
Thanks for the info. It performed great during my trip. I have got used to the slightly jerky movement, and after I reset everything by pulling the battery cable off for a couple minutes, the flashing Nav screen went away
Glad to hear it's (sometimes) normal. I won't worry about it.
BTW, I got a chance to test the optional setting to honk the horn if someone tries to open the door. Heard it from my motel room, car right outside. Saw two punks running, Lol.

The horn had nothing to do with the Valet, that is just an option on the DIC that you can turn on and off. I think it is called "horn on lock and unlock"
The start and stop of the windows is only on some C6's, not by model year. I think it is only on cars with Nav.
It does not hurt anything if your car does this, just not as appealing as rolling down in one smooth motion.
Thanks.
