Weird noise........
for just a brief second when I start my 06 C6. When I start the car for just a split second I think i hear the radio or some kind of radio sounding static. The problem is .... The radio IS NOT ON!! I thought I was losing my mind... bit.. it happens EVERYTIME I start the car,and I always turn off the radio before I shut off the car. Anyone else have this happen. or is mental illness creeping in. P.S ... Just went outside to check this phenomenon again.... I started the car and it happened again. Then (while the car was running) I turned the radio on. Then I turned the radio off and shut off the car. I started it again and I swear for a second I heard radio static. WTF????????

I really don't have a clue on this but can you replicate the exact noise (you hear at startup) with the radio? Do you have OnStar or NAV? Could those be the source of the noise?

That's normal. I hear that all the time too. There have been threads about this in the past as well. Apparently when you start the car, the electronics "boot up" and you hear some sounds from the speakers momentarily... almost like a strange high pitched static noise as well as a hiss.. but just for a split second or so. Don't worry about it. As some say, the C6 is a "laptop on wheels"... when you think of it that way, the "boot up" noise will not bother you.
