I can't see badging a C6 to show that you have a stock engine or some factory option but if you like the emblem....go for it! I wouldn't think less of anyone for doing it.
I actually have a pair, but haven't gotten around to putting it on yet (only going to use one of them, and it is going on the rear hatch of my wife's trailblazer ss. They are really nice quality, but I don't like them on a vette. I got mine at a car show silent auction, Forum vendor CAR Motorsports sells them.
Seeing as I took off that goofy (to me) "GM Quality" chrome emblem as soon as my new 2007 arrived in my garage, am sure it wont surprise you that I find it, along with those "Z51" emblems =
On the other hand, if it floats your boat, go for it! Which explains why I kept that GM emblem around instead of throwing it in the trash...you never know if the next buyer of my car may be one of those badge fans

I didn't want to open an ugly thread, I know how this topic has been batted around for a while. Just found it sorta ZO6 wannabe-ish and really thought it looked out of place at the Vettefest car show.

So you were trolling???
Let me ask you. I'm curious. Based upon where other discussions of this type have lead, where did you think a discussion on this would lead?

Yeah, OK. If you weren't contemplating putting these on your own car, then what was the point in starting the thread?

1. searching LS2 emblem threads found nothing.
2. 1st Vettefest for me, many older vettes had emblems showing the engine "code", c6 doesn't, except this one at the show.
3. Naively assumed that we could open an adult discussion about emblems that indicate engine designation seen at a car show without opening an ugly thread about emblems that indicate car options.
