Oh well, will plan on picking up a used one at lower price points in a few years like I did with my C5Z.My next idea, was to order a C6 Vert optioned the way I would want, 3LT, Z51, MN6 and do the Museum Delivery. Went to the Dealer Saturday fully expecting this would be my decision. However, I wasn't expecting to be so underwhelmed. Yes, interior was much nicer than my C5Z and it would mean being able to put the top down, but it just sounded wimpy. Wasn't crazy about the ride compared to C5Z either, but it wasn't a Z51 so that wasn't a deal breaker. Lastly, I thought when they finally did an exposed light Vette I would love it but, all I can say is ugh! Just don't like the stupid expression the car has on its face, plus in NJ we have to put on front plate which makes it look like it has a buck tooth. Maybe if the '08 truly does move up to 425-450hp I will live with it, otherwise I think I am waiting to see what the C7 looks like.
So, I am keeping the C5Z, selling the '07 back to the dealer and using the money to payoff small remaining amount on C5Z loan, donating some to charity (since that's how I won the thing anyway) and then upgrading all our TV's (3) to Plasma or LCD and Hi-Def. Probably upgrade the home stereo systems too depending on what's left.
It was really cool to have won something, and it's been stressful but fun deciding what to do. In a perfect world I would have been able to get a C6Z, but I am happy with the C5Z I have and am excited about getting some nice TV's in time for NFL playoffs and then baseball season. BTW - we have same 27" TV we got when we got married 11 years ago.

Ahhh yes, a new 50" Panasonic Flat HDTV, B&W speakers Rt, Lft and center, THX side surrounds and rears for that 7-chnl EX surround sound. Oh, and get the new Lexicon processor and 7-chnl amp and finish it off with a Velodyne 18" sub...oh yeah! Pioneer makes some great DVD players. I almost forgot, get the hospital grade wall receptacles and an Exact power conditioner to maintain 120 from the wall and take care of any power surges.
You can get a good SPL ( sound pressure level ) meter at Radio Shack to balance it all out. Get some good cable, non of that Monster crap.
