Bad personal news, I have to sell my vette...
Recently we found out that my wife is ill. The medical bills started to stack up and now its time to sell the vette to stay afloat. I wanted to take the opportunity to say goodbye to everyone (for now) but I am sure I will return in a few years when things get better.
Hopefully I can sell it fast so I need some advice on what would be a good price to sell:
2006 Black/Cashmere, 3LT, AT6, Z51, NAV, XM, ONSTAR, POLISHED WHLS, TINT, Z06 Spoiler with 6400 miles... with over 2 years left on the warranty
Thanks!

While it's a shame to have to part with a Vette, you have made the only responsible choice available to you. If it's in the cards for you to be able to get back into a Vette in the future, then that's something you can look forward to, if not, then at least you got the chance to enjoy one for a while which is more than a lot of people can say.
Here's another prayer for you and your wife. Hang in there.

BTW, you do not need to leave the forum just because you no longer have a Vette!

Safety Car
romC6 -
Sorry to hear about this.
I did some research for you.
I just recently traded my 2006 C6 BASE manual coupe and I find Edmunds to be more realistic than KBB.
KBB is high IMO.
I optioned out your car and came up with:
Trade-in - $41,300
Private - $44,400
Dealer - $47,700
I also did a completely BASE 2006 A6 and came out with:
TI - $36,200
PP - $38,800
Dealer - $41,100
Adding polished rims adds $700-$800 more.
I just recently received $35K Trade-in for my Completely BASE 2006 manual tranny with 5200 miles on it.
I bought it brand new in 7/06 for $40,499.
Keep in mind I just bought my 2007 C6 Coupe, only options are Chrome rims and A6, it MSRP's for $48095 and I bought it for $44095.
Without the rims it would have been $42,200.
I give you these facts so you know how to price your car in this difficult time.
I would say if you price your car at $39,900 it will be gone instantly.
At $44K-$45K I think alot of people will go with new, but it is what your car is worth.
I personally would try asking for $42K, a sweet deal for a completely loaded 2006.
I feel bad running numbers when all I hope is your wife gets better.
Good luck with everything and if you have any question feel free to ask.
