exactly...it's a fine crack...a hairline crack...like i said, this is the second time this has happened...so, I'm either pushing too hard (which I know I am not) or there is something wrong with the switch...my car was in the 1st 5 months of production...so who knows? I suggest everyone have a look...most 05 owners are just know beginning to find new little things here and there...keep looking
Yeah...the same new little things you'll find in '06's, '07's and most likely '08's when they come out. Why would you want to "keep looking"? How about looking for some of the positive stuff about the '05's and what a great car they are? Some newby posted recently about the fact that he was afraid to buy an '05 after reading this forum....IMO this is totally misleading. Sometimes the negativity is overwhelming and we encourage people to "keep looking" for stuff to be wrong Keep looking long enough and you'll find it; or a least think you found it (i.e. the DBS issue) To "keep looking" is not any fun, and I'm not going to do it, and I bet I'm going to have fewer problems with my car than you are, and and I bet I'm going to have more fun than you will
What's up with all the 05's in here with less than 9000 miles, are you saving it for something like a collector item? Why not drive the cars I just don't get it?
I just got a used 05 vette with 9600 miles and it has this same issue. Didnt even realize that it was something that would be covered under warranty (Its under warranty until November). It doesnt bother me, but if I can get it replaced why not eh?
