I feel persecuted -- possibly even scarred for life at this obvious discrimination. Bugs are people too ...
seriously - get a Colgan or Speed Lingerie. Some pics and info for you at my web page. I have the SL, and I think it takes about 10 minutes to install, 2 minutes to remove. Just make sure the bra is warm for installation. if the bra material is cold, it's impossible to stretch it.
Definitely worth getting a bra for these special circumstances. I just use mine for long trips. Always good to know it's there.
The GM bra was is easy to take off and put on. They don't look the best tho. We had the cicadas about 3 years ago and it wasn't as bad as I rememeber 17 years prior.
except in that I think they look o.k. and fit like a glove.
IF you ever drive to Louisiana, better put on a car bra, there are millions of these black bugs that turn your white car into salt & pepper!
But wow those are some big suckas!
Drove once down the Interstate that skirts Lake Ponchtraine. Had to stop after 20 mi. Couldn't see for all the bug juice. Had to scrape off the wind shield with a credit card.

Do not leave your convertible top down overnight. One time I parked my car with the top down overnight. It was under a Mercury lamp. Inside of body filled up with crickets. Smelled for weeks.
Here in Chicago we are about to have the 17 year cicadas invasion. Millions of the suckers. Lasts at least six weeks. Can anyone recommend a car bra for my C6 that is actually easy to take on and off?
I lived in the Chicago area the last time they hit, 17 years ago. What a mess! Some sidewalks were so thick with 'em, you needed rubber boots.
Don't know about car bras. Have a personal dislike for them after trying a few. But will offer this caution.
Watch the streets. I saw cars hit intersections with stop signs, where the bugs where thick, and slide right through. I ain't making that up!
By the way, also spent some years in Wheaton. Enjoyed my time there. Spent a lot of time at John's Buffet, in Winfield.
Bought a GM bra, hated it. Pain to get on and off.
Been using one of these for years, love it. My 4 year old prides himself for being able to put it on. It rolls up into a tiny bag that fits in the back cubby when not in use. Comes in several colors. There's one on my car in my avatar if you look close.

They do indeed...I had a problem with the whithers on the C6 fitting my M1885 McClellan saddle but my M1917 Officer's Field Saddle fits just right (it might be a hangin' offense since I'm not an Officer).
