I have no idea if this is old news or new but this months MT claims the C7 out in 2009 and will have the same platform as the current Z06, and the new Z06 will be called the Z07 and LS7 supercharged engine, ( nothing new there), but not named the SS or Blue Devil.

The standard Corvette may get the wide fender package before the C6 run is over. Remember they did this with the C4. The wide fender package would not make it a C7. The current C7 arrival date is being leaked as 2012. That would probably slip one or two years.
