As a new Vette owner I am told to wave at other Vettes I see on the road. Yesterday I wave at four other owners and got no return waves, what's up here I thought this was a brotherhood of Vette owners????

Congrats on your new vette. I wave all the time. It is very rare that I don't get a return wave. I've missed a wave or two because I didn't see the other vette in time which might have happened in your case.
Don't worry if you don't get a wave in return....they may not have seen you in-time, they may be uneducated about the tradition or they might be just too 'important.'
I give a little wave to all other Corvettes and probably average about a 70% return rate. Keep the tradition going. Again, if the other person does not wave in return....that's their problem not yours!

It's those of us who do wave that have the most fun more often. Tradition counts.
I missed my first wave due to ignorance. Got my first Vette just last March.
I was fooled because the wave came from a "shark" style Vette that had a very similar color to mine. I thought it was due to the similarity of the color. I later got another wave from another Vette. Pretty much figured it out by then. So, I missed like 1 or 2 waves due to inexperience.
Maybe some people think it's dumb. I think it's a cool thing to do and continue. Don't let the missing waves deter you. Keep it going.
