And don't forget the difference between the '08 LS3 and the '09 LS3. A 20% stronger block in the '09? Uses the block casting of the ZR1.

I have 6000 miles on my 08 and have zero issues with the engine. The dipstick shows full at the first oil change and it shows full now.

I bought an 07 in FEB 2007 because of the 0% financing. I still wish I would have waited and got the 08. If you can swing it, get the 08.

I would get the 08. You'll probably regret not having the motor. I almost bought an '06 until I found out the LS3. I don't think you'll regret it!

Alot of money getting that 30 extra hp? How about headers, CAI and tune. Thats not too much.
