Default Chromie Question

Now that I have my new Borla installed, the next addition for me are wheels. I've been leaning toward the F.R. C6 Z06 Motorsports in chrome for quite a while. I've never owned chrome.

My question to all that have chrome wheels is, how hard are they to clean and maintain? I'm more concerned about the iron coming from the rotors while washing my car. It starts dripping down before I can even blow them dry.

Also, now that you have chrome, would you change to a different wheel (i.e. painted or polished), because of the maintenance?

chrome is exceptionally easy to clean, just wash and dry, nothing else needed. Polished is the most upkeep, and painted, while easy, is just

Very easy to maintain. I wash the car and wheels then blow dry the wheels and there is no mess.

Easy to maintain sounds good. Looks like chrome still although I've seen some good looking wheels in all finishes.

I polished mine with some simichrome when I first got them and it's been easy clean up since then.

I love my Chrome Z06 wheels. They really are easy to clean. If you want to shine them up, just use a microfiber towel. I also use Mother's chrome polish on mine.

Yes but they're very easy to repair if you rub a curb.

Have fun with chromes or polished.
