I don't know about the 'real cheap' part. I just checked with a Midas shop here in Las Vegas, and they wanted $200 for a strict bolt-on, no welding or cutting catback install. Seems pretty expensive for what should be a 30 min or less job on the lift.
$200 eek $$$$$$$$$$
my Flowmasters were installed buy Mieneke Muffler Rt1 Danvers Ma , took them 50 minutes & paid 75 bucks

It took me about an hour to put mine on.$200 seems steep to me,considering the level of difficulty. This system provided the perfect sound for me,my wife loves it,and I get lots of unsolicited positive comments from others as well.No significant drone on my F55/Mn6.
I have stock exhaust and am thinking about getting the axle back system. I have a chrome exhaust plate and I am wondering if it will fit the Flowmaster axle backs. Has anyone had any experience with this ?

Thanks,

Any exhaust plate designed for the OEM exhaust system works perfectly with the Flowmaster system too.

Going to the Chevy dealer tomorrow to install my new Flowmaster 15886. Forty bucks to swap it plus I am going to give 10 to the mechanic for beer. BTW, I have got the lowest internet price possible.
