Default Rump Rocket Morons..

Ok, I've had all of the 'Stang guys stunts. Crazy passing, revving at traffic lights, burn outs at traffic lights, giving me the "come on" sign.
Also had similar behavior from Trans Am and Camaro dudes.
I ignore them all. 'Cuz thats waht pi55es them of the most.

Of late I've been getting this stupid-*** behavior from dudes on street bikes. Crazy-stupid stuff. If coming at me they have done wheelies.
If coming up from behind, I've had them wait till the last second and do a "nosie" - looks like they're gonna eat asphalt.
Last week I had an idiot come around me doing at least 85 mph on a crowded interstate doing a Superman - chest on tank, feet hanging off of the rear tail lights.
This afternoon another "brilliant" biker came around to pass got right beside me then popped up his nose and revved the engine to about 20,000 rpm - loud as hell.

What's up with these morons? Any of you Rump Rocket Riders know of guys that do this?

Anything I can do other than ignore them?

Oh the ones I like the best are in 10 year old Accords or Sentras with Chrome fart pipe bobbing up and down like a chrome headed stiff dick and there little 160hp motors cutting me off on the freeway. Oh well guess we all have to live with it.

I wanted to start a thread called "What is the slowest car that ever challenged you". Mine was a Olds Alero. Probably a 15.8 second car down hill (I've rented them). When I first got my car this poor kid floored it 3 times at three lights in a row. I wanted so bad to show him what quick was, but for once I laid off and laughed. I've never had a sport bike challange me in the Vette, but I've had them challenge me in a Mustang.

He was probably just a Vette fan and wanted to see what your car could do. When I was in high school I'd rev the engine of my mom's 4cyl Camry when I was lined up beside sports cars, because I love to see them in action

i enjoy watching them make fools of themselves. It's great to know you could make them eat your dust but don't have to. Besides why risk a your life, $50k car, or a certificate of driving skill from the local LEO just to pizz on an inferior vehicle operated by a moron.

That's typical. All high-performance sports cars are looked with envy by many out there. They want to tell you - you have a Vette, but i will be faster... Just ignore them!

I had a new Dodge dualie trying to race me in my c5! He was crazy. Went flying by me doing what I figured to be 100-110. Where's a cop when you need one? I don't get these guys.

A few months ago, we had 12 crotch rockets slow down to 35mph
across 3 lanes of a highway at 6:30pm and block traffic!

Wheelies are against the law. Period.

Actually the term is, "Stoppie." It is a maximun braking technique that teaches brake modulation and control. It shouldn't be practiced on the street with traffic, however. It should be practiced where there is no traffic. But it SHOULD BE PRACTICED!
Last week I had an idiot come around me doing at least 85 mph on a crowded interstate doing a Superman - chest on tank, feet hanging off of the rear tail lights.
Rollie Free?

Simple, he's in idiot. He'll be out of the gene pool soon enough.

What's up with these morons?
They think they're invincable. They haven't seen enough friends "check out" yet.

Not quite sure what a "rump rocket rider" is but maybe this should go to OFF TOPIC?

Anything I can do other than ignore them?
You can play cop and get their plate number. That's about it. (You can shoot 'em, but then you'd be the bad guy.)

If this really bothers you, get dark tint as long it is legal on your area of course.

I thought I had seen it all from the crotch rockets until I saw a beater Honda Civic and Nissan Sentra doing zig-zag figure 8's on one of the busiest freeways in Dallas during 5pm rush hour traffic. Twice during their idiotic stunt they almost collided with each other.

They had exited the freeway, same exit as mine. I pulled up along side them all the while thinking those morons were lucky they didn't kill themselves or even worse, someone else. One of the guys barely looked 16 and started yelling at me. I think he got more pi$$ed when I didn't give him the time of day.

I had someone here in S. Calif a few weeks ago that was doing a wheelie at 90mph going by me. I backed off as I was expecting him to come back down badly and splatter himself...but he managed a less than graceful landing, scared himself a little, then took off.

Three crotch-rocket pilots died with-in a month here in Tulsa and it slowed their friends down for about a week or two..

They're too young to really understand. To be honest, when I was 18-22 y/o I didn't either.. I did the same stupid sh#@ ...

I have to agree with the others.. Enjoy the show and help pick up the pieces when you come up on an accident.. sounds like it won't be long..

That's a good one! I have come up with an idea for a reality show.

Let's call it "Tragedy or Stupidity?" The shows' producers will do background checks and gather witnesses. They will present a realistic and brutally truthful take on the "tragedy". The point would be that I see many "tragedies" that should be labled "stupidities". Like those morons doing figure 8's in rush hour traffic in post #15. Let's say that one of those idiots f's up and eats a wall. The late night news will report a tragic accident with deaths. The morning newspaper report a "terrible tragedy" with the death of so-and-so. Well, all of the eye witnesses can tell you that it wasn't a tragedy it was a "stupidity". They were killed by their own hand in a brazen act of stupidity. Unfortunately, many times they take innocents with them...

Too macabre for the audience? Or too real for portrayal?
