I think refusing the car is a knee-jerk reaction but definitely find out what was wrong with the car. At least know what's going on before even contemplating such an action. Chances are the car will be fine.

After 2 days and no dilivery, speaking with the Service manager and the Sales manager would be main objective.
You became customer service priority when that car rolled off the transfer truck. If it was a part they were waiting for, then you would known it, because you would have asked.

How do you figure the car has been titled? Whenever I've purchased a car the final paperwork, including the application for title, temporary registration, etc. has been completed just prior to taking possession and driving the car off the lot. I would doubt the car has been titled but if it has, irrespective of whether he has temporary plates or not the car is his.
