Default Curb Warning

Does anyone have a device that lets them know that you're close enough to the curb???

So far, the only problem I encountered was a concrete tire stop that I scraped with my front end. It sounded worse then it was, got a wet cloth out when I got home and just wiped it down, the scratch was not visible unless you knew about it.

No way does a curb feeler belong on a Vette!

That's funny!

The prior owner of my "new" car had scratched up both wheels on the passenger side. The fellow that fixed them said he does lots and lots of Corvette wheels!!

are you talking about one of those electronic things like they use in backups? I haven't seen one, but I've got to think someone makes it.

The Vette is the easiest car I've driven to tell where the wheels are. I'm not really sure why, but I scratched the rims of my old Lexus GS on a regular basis but I haven't even had one brush with a curb in the year I've owned my Vette

Trying to figure out where the back end of this car is is a whole other issue though, I often back into a parking space, get out of the car and realize the back end is about 3 feet forward of where I thought it was

The nose is the big problem. I guess a big nose is a big problem.

I use my mirror. Just tilt it down and you'll see your rear tire area and how close it is to the curb. Been doing this for years on all vehicles with adjustable mirrors. Works great.
