Back then i could understand but these days, having a C6, unless a ZR1, doesn't really make people think you're rich.

Hell base vettes cost just about as much as a new civic. And plus, ANY person can really finance a car these days. So having a 400 dollar monthly payment on a car doesn't really mean you're rich. In fact, nothing does really.

Having a nice house paid for, cars paid for, disposable income, and time to play because you're not working means you're rich.

I make decent money but i also have no kids or a wife so i have money to spend on myself. Doesn't make me rich. Not even 1% of the word rich. I wish i was.

As I get old I realize more each day that having people who are happy you are in their lives makes you the richest man on earth. Money and cars,things, they don't mean a thing in comparison. Sounds hokey but its true. Good health and happiness to all you cats out there.

Just recently moved to a different house. Had an electrician do some work, he had to get into the garage where the electrical box is. The bill I received was, I feel, inflated. I think it was the Corvette Tax. I should leave the Corvette at the old house until I get everything do at the new place.

I make sure they see the Vette, so i put it in the driveway. That way they never suspect I have a Aston Martin and Bentley in the garage!

not me...when their quote for "whatever" is too high, I just tell them I have another quote for less. Seems to work pretty well.

Yep, and when shopping for a new car, I always bring one of the Vettes.

Always bargain from a place of power.
