I'm not saying GM is right or that the after market chrome split spokes will crack, just giving information on why GM decided to NOT offer chrome split spoke wheels at this time. Chrome plating (especially thicker plating) has the potential to increase failure.

I saw a pic of the new to come solstice coupe, with chrome split spoke very similar to the 08 wheels... Looks like GM is moving forward with them.

Anyone have a picture of the 2008 Chrome split spoke wheels on a Silver C6? I can't decide between the 2008 split spokes and the Z06 replicas.
