Default Window Valet problems?

Last night I mounted my window valet in my C6 convertible -05. For some reason the window moved down a short distance, then stopped, then moved again and then stopped (same on the way up). The nav lit up at the same time the window moved, going dark when ever the window stopped.

I´ve tried to index the window a couple of times as well as removed the valet and replaced it again. Does anyone have a different approach that might help me solve this problem?

dealer. I fought with my electric seats eventually shutting the entire car down and I mean to the point that it thought aliens were coming to take it away. I thought I heard a small squeal like the like the superbowl commercial when the two trucks square off and one of them squeals and pees. and went into the fetal position (I was parked nose first inside garage (auto). This all started because my seats wouldn't work. My wife begged me to just take it in. But me man Jane, no take to dealer!
After I had to disconnect the linkage (BTW is extrememly simple and if someone is out to get you all they need is a flathead screwdriver and you ain't going anywhere) the tow truck dropped it off at dealer which read codes and within minutes isolated the problem, fixed and I was on my way.
the shutting down of the car part was due to and "I D ten T" error
id10t.

I'm not too familar with the Window Valet. I would try contacting them but I've seen more and more reports like this lately. Try removing it and see if it still does it...

I had problems with my window valet after a DBS strike.

I couldn't get it to work correctly. I removed the valet (for 3 days) and unhooked the battery cables over night. Indexed the windows and drove the car for 3 days to and from work and some short trips to the store, etc. On the 4th day, I re-installed the valet and haven't had any problems since.

I did the battery disconnect, the R&R of the valet, the indexing of the windows...I don't know, perhaps a residual charge within the valet had to be "drained off" and took several days.

:o honestly, I forgot about it for 4 days...and wondered why it wasn't working

YMMV
