I was cruising my vette last night and started adding up what I've spent in mods on my 06 vette. I know some don't want to think about it but it was a fun exercise trying to remember all the things I've done since taking delivery in April of 06.
I'm wondering if others have a ballpark dollar amount of what they've spent on after market mods since buying their cars? This list will highlight just how much money there is to be made in selling after market products.
My total is around 6 grand so far which includes my CCW wheels...etc. I'm curious how much money many other vette owners have sunk into their toys.......
Some of you will have to make sure your wives never see this thread....
BTW I believe if you enjoy all the mods you've made it's money well spent! It's the reason many of us bought vettes and belong to this forum.
Yea i'm about at the same. I've had the Vette for about a month and I have already order some Iforged wheels, rotors, pads, racemesh, powdercoated calipers, and hopefully pick up a CAI. Next on the list will be ported intake, TB, and Formato tune. Should be a sweet summer and no wife or GF to listen too Just cruisin the countryside
About $25K. That includes a Lingenfelter engine, K&N CAI, RPS Stage 3+ clutch, LG Long Tube Headers, Hi-flo cats, Corsa Sports Exhaust, MovIt brake kit, Forgeline wheels, and Caravaggio rear fenders.
Thankfully, I don't have to explain this to the non-existent wife/SO!!!

Going to give my post a few weeks and then go back and total it all up. Should be interesting to see how much guys on the forum spent on their rides...
I did the same thing just out of curiosity a few weeks ago, wish it never crossed my mind. About $27K. This includes the Z06 body/paint/wheels/tires, engine H/C package, nitrous system, exhaust, DSvettes interior, HUD install, audio, headers, intake, and my new maggie supercharger. Ridiculous to spend so much and yet I dont even know how I could have gotten there in the first place.
