I've got an "already done" list and a wish list, both of which are encrypted on my HD. I'm only about $5K into it so far, but the wish-list is growing! Hey, do track days and tuners count?! Maybe I better re-think that number and change to 256-bit encryption!
I've had my car since September and have not gotten the bug as bad as others:
American Racing Headers, installed $1,995
Vararam, installed $545
Dyno-tune $500
Total $3,040
The seat of the pants difference after these few mods is very gratifying. I can see why guys get hooked on the mods now but that's it for me for the time being.
Yep...Sometimes ignorance is BLISS!!! No way will I ever try to add up my mods. What you don't know can't hurt you...at least til the bill collector comes a calling!
At well over 500rwhp I'm guessing I'll spend another 8k before I'm done. I don't need to be the fastest. Someone is always faster. There just comes a point when the tires spin no matter what I presume.
About $25K. That includes a Lingenfelter engine, K&N CAI, RPS Stage 3+ clutch, LG Long Tube Headers, Hi-flo cats, Corsa Sports Exhaust, MovIt brake kit, Forgeline wheels, and Caravaggio rear fenders.
Thankfully, I don't have to explain this to the non-existent wife/SO!!!
Um, a lot. A real lot. I do most of my own work to include the body and motor so it would be 4 or 5 times as much as I have spent. Embarrassingly I'm probably still well within the top 5. The only thing I have left is the interior and the blower. That's another $10k
At north of 500rwhp I have recently been considering calling it quits and buying a C1. I'm pretty much sold unless I win the lottery and then I can have both. Mrs. Aintqik wants a baby though.
