You did the right thing man! CarMax is bogus...it would be nice if it worked as advertised but they'll rip yer head off as soon as the next guy.

When you get your new car it'll have all the 2008 improvements and it'll feel like it's your own baby and not "adopted"! Just come to the forum to cure those "waiting for my Vette" blues.

I love the way these guys always size you up first. My next one will be from a forum vendor for sure; may be long distance but worth not having to deal with the usual BS.

Smoke makes a big difference, especially if you are not a smoker. The smell never leaves and years after I bought one car I could still smell it on a damp day. Sort of a musty. dank smell. Never again.
If you DON'T smoke, you know, if you DO smoke you don't understand. It's a bad comparison but sort of like BO (body odor) or bad breath.

A small suggestion: use one of those small, electrical, ionizers with a fan. Put in car, close doors and windows, leave it on overnight. Longer, if needed. Does the job. Bars have the industrial version and it does clear the air. Permanently. I also use the lighter plug in kinds. $9 from Walmart and Linens.

Thats why I didnt notice it at first they ionized it.Took a few days to notice the smell, then I really got down to looking for smoking signs. The bottom line is they lied to me.Anyway the good thing is I'm getting a 2008 White Conv instead of the 07.
