I cant understand buying one of these to look at.
I do far better on the stock market side rather than parking my Vette in the garage. I drove my C5 150,000 and already have 30,000 on my C6.
I guess it's each to their own.
I really don't have a clue why someone would buy a performance car to park in the garage.
Do I check the weather? Yes. I find myself staring at the Nav screen wondering why we can't get the radar map for our area on it. Then I remember, lawyers.

I admit, I check the weather. Only because I dont want to waste my time.
Im not paying 800$ a month for a car to sit in the garage and drive a beater??? Sorry. I try to tell myself all the time its just a car. Otherwise Id go crazy!!!!!!!
I didn't do it THAT often when my C6 was on the stock split-spokes (unless i had JUST washed it of course), but since i put the Aeros on, they're STUPIDLY high-maintenance so now....the car is strictly a dry-weather toy.
The garage queens on this site really crack me up!
Its been raining torrentially here in NJ and I still put 50+ miles a day on mine... Its just a car; do you really think it won't devalue if you leave it in the garage when its wet out?
Personally, I don't care about resale value so much as the cleanliness issue. I know personally I hate a dirty car and I really don't have any daylight hours outside of work Monday to Friday, so washes are at least a week apart. If I can avoid rain, why not?
NAH...I live in SoCal...I hope it rains so I can drive my truck every now and then,oh by the way...rain??? thats that wet stuff isnt it,I think they call it snow when it gets cold out...wait a minute...cold...whats that????
I check the local weather report everyday before deciding what to drive to work. I also go outside and see if there are any clouds on the horizon. If it does rain, it is usually only for a little while, that's one of the good things about driving a vette in Hawaii.

Guilty. If it is likely to rain I drive my Toyota truck. If the Vette does get rained on it isn't a tragedy, just a pain. This is just for the daily commute. But if I'm going on a long trip I use the Vette regardless of rain conditions.
