No hose , water or blower here. I just spray on Poor Boys waterless cleaner and wipe off with large micro followed by small micro. Also acts as a detailer. Wash the car maybe once a year with Dawn blue prior to Rejex or Maguires 2.0. Takes 5 minutes with Poor Boys.
When I first read about using a leaf blower to dry the car I thought everyone was joking about it, but so many people do it, it must be o.k. I couldn't imagine why anyone would blow unfiltered dirty air against their paint at hight speed. Now I'm thinking about buying one of these Air force Blasters that are warm filtered air. Currently I use a California water blade and a micro towel.
I heard this recently in a video on how to detail your car. It sounded weird to me, but thought I'd give it a try.....after you wash the car, when drying a panel, spray just a LITTLE detail spray on it while it is still wet.........then dry that panel and move on to the next.
I tried this, and it really seemed to make the paint "POP"...and I use an artificial shammy, the foam ones ---- not sure what you call those, and then follow that up with a soft cotton towel........
