GM supplier certificate?
Getting ready to order a '09 couple and am looking for a supplier certificate (if there is still such a thing). A few years ago someone on this forum sent me one for an Escalade.
Can anyone help me with some info?

Forum dealers are selling at GMS, or employee pricing. That's about $1-2,000 less than supplier (GSU) pricing. Most local dealers won't do that because they can't sell enough Corvettes to make it profitable.
I ordered my 2009 from a local dealer at GSU. That comes out to about invoice ... plus or minus depending on the options. If you can order a car locally at invoice, you won't gain much with a GSU number. If not, the GSU saves all the haggling and guarantees a good price. The GSU is printed out on the dealer's invoice and he has to show it to you if he agrees to honor the GSU order.
There are a few members on this board who have monthly allocations of GSU "Friends" numbers. I'm sure at least one of them will see your post and offer you a GSU number.
