Clear Bra over stripes a problem?
My 09 Vert just arrived (pics later). Wanted to put Mikes stripes on the hood and in addition put a clear bra on afterward.
Told by the installer at fourm dealer that they want to cut around the stripes because moisture will be able to get under the bra causing problems if they don't.
Anyone dealt with this?

I could see some moisture seeping into the little arear at the edges of the overlap. Not sure what this would do to the paint over time. I would not think it would be that much of a problem though. Cutting around the stripes will most likely leave razor marks visible upon removal.

I didn't want the clear bra covering the fender stripes on mine. So, I'm going without. Using a stretchy add-on bra for road trips. My installer will do just the front fascia and mirrors. May have this done.
I do have the clear windshield protection, it was cut down in size so that it would not cover the Corvette decal there.

Whoa never thought this "Might" be a problem. I might just cut the strips at an angle and stop them before the clear bra, which is 1/2 way up the hood.
Thanks for any help/thoughts

I also have the clear covering the "Ram Air" decals on my 02 WS6 with no issues as well.
