Clutch Vibration on 09
Seems like my clutch vibrates a little when i start moving in either reverse or first gear. I notice it more on my 09 that on my 07 i sold. My 09 has only 165 miles on it and i was hoping it would go away. It does not make any noise. Anyone else had this issue and did it go away with more miles ?

Melting Slicks
Sounds normal to me. Every C6 I have owned has the clutch shimmy when letting off the clutch. As far as why one is more noticeable I dont know. Different cars different mileage etc etc. Either way its normal.

Some have claimed that GM replaced their clutch and flywheel. I have 9000 miles and it still does it. I'll wait another year and if it still does it, I'll have it checked. I hate the thought of a dealer messing with the driveline though.

05 Coupe
My 05 Coupe has the same problem. I tried the Clutch Fluid change, no difference. Dealer says' no TSB for this problem. The chatter dissapates after the car is driven so it does not bother me so much. It seems the problem is when the car is first started, either backing up or moving forward.

I think you're talking about clutch shudder.
I've found that many, many cars suffer from this. You can drive around it by revving a little higher. Somewhere around 00-01, clutch suppliers went to new compounds, I believe due to asbestos content. Since then, numerous makes/models have reported clutch shudder when the car is cold, including Infiniti, Miatas, BMW, etc. Even my aftermarket ACT did it on my turbocharged 02 Miata.
Personally, since it's so widespread, I chalk it up to the clutch material, and just drive around it. I don't want people screwing around with my drivetrain in an effort to fix something that really can't be fixed.
