First corvette driven
What was the first corvette you drove and how old were you?
For me it was in 1968, I was 16 years old, and the vette was a 1964 300hp 4spd. coupe.

1959 at 17 I drove a friends '56 C1. Later in 1961 I bought a '57 270hp three speed, all red/white top.

It was a 1962 White Vert with a red interior. I was 18 yrs old.....At the time, it was the best thing I could do with my clothes on...

It was a C4 and I was around 19 or 20. My fathers friend came over. He ran out of smokes and asked me to take his C4 to the grocery store to get another pack. It was fun driving that C4, but the seat was broken and in the farthest back position. It was pretty challenging reaching the gas and brake.

Back in the late 80's in New Zealand my home country, I was given a ride in a Red C3, not sure what year it was, I would have only been 17 years old. Wanted one ever since. First drove one when I purchased a 1978 in 2005.
