I forgot that my uncle let me drive his modified ''63 in 1988. That was the first Vette I drove. Although I only drove it for about 10 minutes.

Rented an '08 C6 from Hertz (before the ZHZ) on a trip to Vegas in Oct. of 2007. (I was 36.) Started shopping the day I got back and bought my '05 in Nov. of 2007.

My first was a '69 435hp/427 at age 17. That was back in 1975. Next was a '69 L88 a year later. Those were some fast cars in those days!

A friend's 1990 Black ZR-1. Wow! I'll never forget almost putting it in a ditch when I jump on it too hard coming around a slow hairpin! Glad he wasn't in the car with me....

I'll be getting one next Feb-Apr, but I have yet to ever drive any Corvette. I did however get my first ride in a Corvette three weeks ago - a two week old 2008 Z06. It was only for a couple of miles, but WOW, what an impressive car!

First drive was in a 1956 I bought in 1963 (23 years old) Plucked out the old tired 265 and powerglide and dropped in a 327 Fuelie engine, 4 speed and 4:56 rear. That was one smokin' street machine.

Drove a '64 coupe. I was 18. First time I'd ever driven a stick that wasn't on the column. My own car at the time was a '61 Corvair. Quite a bit of difference!

Brand new 1977 coupe that I ordered loaded from Bariel Chevrolet in Wexford, Pa. Silver with red leather interior. I was 26 years old. The car arrived at the dealer in early January. I remember having to drive it home in the snow. Bummer. I still have the original window sticker taken off the car at the time they did the PDI. The first vette that I drove and the first vette that I owned.

8 years ago i dorve my first vette. My parents neighbor collects c2s and wanted to bring 4 of them to a show in our town. He knew how much i loved his vettes so he asked me to drive one to the show for him. I was 17 years old and the car was a Survivor 1966 427/425 Red coupe with 65,000 original miles and side pipes. One of the greatest days of my life.
