I love to see a thread were a member asks a question and he gets the answer and then someone else will post THE SAME answer to the question. Then there will be a response that has NOTHING to do with the question and that will get into a discussion and then the thread heads a different way. Then a member will post more of the same answers and bring that thread back to the top. I was looking at how many threads the answers are there WITHIN 2 responses but you will get another dozen or so answers to that question. I also love all the thumbs up that bring the thread back to the top or the I agree smiley that works the same way. I was just thinking that once you get a few of the SAME answers to your questions you can lock the thread and store it for members to use the search mode.
For example when a member asks how to reset his windows to work when he uses the door and there are 50+ responses to that thread I find that overkill.

Sometimes, the answer is an opinion and several may agree or disagree. But, I've seen some threads like what you're talking about. Sometimes it seems that posters don't read all the other responses first, even on a short thread.

But the thread doesn't need to be locked. You can still find it with a search.

You must be in the wrong forum. It usually takes at least 50 posts to get even one intelligent answer that is responsive to a question.

So what is the problem?

What you describe is what makes the forum reading interesting. In my opinion it is a positive thing...

Default Active Handling Button Thread

This was a good example of many members all giving the same response with different wording. 1 member wrote it out real nice and complete. Ta da the answer was given. Then others had to add their responses after that post. If they read the first three pages of answers they would have seen that their answer was already given. I guess some people just want to feel important and that they have to contribute to the thread. I just like reading this stuff and since were going back to the top here's ......
and a and a and a too

I'm glad I got those little yellow guys in the thread
and too

In a perfect world maybe, until then relax. Not much you can do about it. Leave it to the forum police

If you see too many ans then don't read them all. Some times while I am formulating and submitting a response some else has done the same at the same time.
