Hate to disagree with you about the C-3's being the worse quality and the least horsepower corvettes built... Lets not forget the 427's 435 horse or the infamous L-88's of 68 69 C-3's... The early C-3's qaulity was not a issue it was in the mid-70's to the end of the C-3's where quaility was lacking think the St Louis plant workers knew they were losing their jobs so didn't much care.... I had couple of 69s and a 79 and you could tell the difference in quality between the two years...

Well, it looks like the C-4 is at or near the bottom on all of these postings. I own a '92. She has 44,600 miles, and except for changing her oil, and buying some tires, and a battery she still looks and runs good. Although I'll admit she does rattle a little.
Now . . . I also admit that I'm spoiled rotten. I own a C-6.
So for me:
C6
C4
C1
C2
C3
C5

In my mind, everything was cool until 1972, 1969 really. In 1973 the Corvette died for me, although I've checked out and test driven almost every year up till today. In 1997 they got my interest back but not my money, I liked Camaros better. In 2005 I started to fall in love again but couldn't get past the silver plastic on the inside or the black plastic spoiler and door handles on the outside. In December of 2007 a local dealer was advertising 2007's for $10,000 off on the radio, I heard the ad as I was driving by the dealership and I just had to stop and take a look at what they had, my 2001 Camaro needed replacing and I was in the market for something. I test drove two 2007's and went home and started to do my homework. After reading about all the changes for 2008, interest turned into desire, and desire turned into obsession, I was sold. I've owned a 1959 and a 1969. I have a 1/18 die cast model of almost every year/style Corvette except the C4, one of those is enough. I really like all the Corvettes from 1953 thru 1969, and I would consider owning any of them if I were a collector. As a daily driver it's 2008 and up for me.

C6 Mine
C3 my wifes. (mine too) ok. Ours
I agree with the other guy about the C3 having similarities in the lines.
When I was kid, the C3 was my fav. I liked the built in spoiler in the rear.
