So I've had the Corvette for 4 months and 5700 miles and today it officially became mine. I managed to rear end someone at low speed (one of those you thought they made the right turn but they just moved up around the corner about 10 feet and stopped again). My fault so no one to get mad at but myself.
Anyway I am taking it into the shop on Thursday, so hopefully the shop makes it good as new. My AW will be put to the test as far as paint matching goes.
Thats not bad, a couple hundred and It'll be good as new.
Not sure about that. I have a buddy who's an adjustor at a shop. He quoted me close to $800 for the rear end to be repainted. I'm no adjustor, but I would venture to guess that the nose piece costs just as much to repaint and color much as the rear.

$750.00 to clear my front bumper from a few light rock scratches. Plan on doing this over the winter, seeing that I can't wax it for 90 days after repair.
That should be an easy fix.
Do you think that a clear bra might have reduced the damage a bit?
All of the black marks would be on the bra and not on the car. All you would have had to do would be replace the clear bra and it would have been good.

Depends, the bumper did have two dents in it (The deep gray blotch is a dent on top of the paint being scrapped off). I'd assume that those would still be there even with a bra.
