I'm not your average 15 year old, I don't look or act like one either. And once again since you don't understand what I'm saying IT IS NOT MY CAR AND BY DRIVING IT I MEAN IN A PARKING LOT JUST SO I CAN SAY I'VE DRIVEN ONE. I'm not trying to drive it on the highway and my mom would never let me. Rockstar lives in FL and the least of my worries at 15 is getting molested, TRUST ME. So why don't you grow up and stop ruining my thread. Act your age.
Good luck on your search, I had a big thing for Corvettes when I was 14, my boss at the gas station I worked at let me drive his 65 Coupe across the K-mart parking lot after they had closed. He was with me of course, I will never forget that great feeling of the Corvette, I still to this day at the age of 54, enjoy driving Corvettes.

Personal attacks/hostility toward others
The Forum should be a place where we treat one another with civility so that it remains a fun and friendly place to hang around with other Corvette enthusiasts. Hostility to others is rude and inappropriate.
Personal attacks cannot be tolerated. Attack ideas, not fellow Forum members.
The next infraction here will be grounds for ban camp.
I believe the 05's although a very nice car had some first year problems that were corrected for most part in 06. They are both very nice cars and I'm sure you and our mom would enjoy which ever you choose.

Well Done!
C6Someday,
I know how you feel I've loved the Vettes since I was a kid, Finally got one @ 52. IMHO that's alot of car for anyone who is inexperienced and or inmature, not saying that you are. ie; my son 22, Cannot touch my Vette, due to 7 accidents 5 total loss, His cousin 17 asked his mom to borrow her Vette to pick up a homework assignment and that was the last time she saw him alive. I hope you understand where I'm coming from, I know not everyone is the same. I feel if the car IS for your mom that's great, It's an awesome car, I just pray your mom has good judgement when it comes to you and 400+HP.
Good luck & God Bless
Glad the thread's back open guy - - - you've been on here all day ! It's an addiction . . . as are the cars. If you're not drivin' `em, you're cleaning, waxing, wrenching, wenching . . . .
Lot's of great history for the brand over the past 55 years . . .take a read through the FAQ section too- lots of good reading.
Someday, You live in Ma. Let your mother know about Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin Chev/Caddy in Nashua NH. He is always taking in clean used vetts as he sells quite a few new and used annually. I bought my 08 coupe from him a year ago and he was a pleasure to deal with. No hidden costs or BS to deal with. Good for you and good luck with your search.
You found the jackpot. This site has the largest collection of the smartest people for anything Corvette. Visit the site when you can and click on things that interest you. I've been on here for about a year and can't imagine how uninformed I would be if I hadn't found this site.
