Default How many miles driven/year

Newbie to forum so this may have been asked before but I am curious as to how many miles forum readers drive their cars per year. It seems to me from the little I have been reading that most don't use them for anything but pleasure and thus don't put on many miles. I see so many C6's for sale that are 2 to 3 years old with very few miles on them. Input??

I put about 14K on my cars a year - But I have three. The Vette averages about 4K a year.

Yeah, the Vette's an off/on DD for me, depending on weather and modifications. Its exactly 4 years old now, and just hit 36k miles. So, about 9k per year. When I do drive it though, they're usually longer trips so I'm out in it a couple hours at a time. It's been border-to-border in the US, North to South, and East to West.

Will be doing the same here in the UK this coming fall.

I've put 16k on the car since I bought it two years ago. Over the last two months I've probably put 50 miles on it. Oregon winters suck.

In my driveway, I have 8 cars. 5 are Corvettes.

I drive some, more than others - and a few, hardly at all.

This past year, I put a lot of miles on the 2008 Corvette. Car now has 45,000 + miles as of last week

Holy crap!!!!

How the hell do you have 45k miles on a current model year car?

Edit...okay, not technically current - as of today.

I don't drive it enough. I don't drive my C6 to work due to the environment, so I drive it ever chance I get.

Put in service Feb 12, 2005, now have 29000 miles. It's my second car, but love driving it. Any excuse is good enough for me. As long as it's not raining or snowing, I drive it. eddie

I have 65k on my 2005. It is my daily driver, and my economy car. My alternative is my 1998 Dodge RAM, which while a very good 4x4 truck, only gets 12 MPG.

I got my Z06 in April of 2008 (an 08 model) and ive put right about 12,000 miles on it. It's not my daily driver, but I take it any chance I get, and I just go in random drives a lot for fun.

About 6K a year on my DD 06 coupe. However, I put a total of about 37K on all the C6s I've had in 4 years.

About 6K miles annually...one of five vehicles available to me, but I drive it every chance I get...weather permitting...
