cornering like you are glued to the road
a beautiful form factor
all with a nice comfortable ride and decent fuel economy.
There are two reasons not to buy one.
1) can not afford it
2) wife/gf says no.
I ignored the second.

Get a Z06 only if you think the it's worth it, I guess.
My reasons for getting a coupe:
I could take off the top and it would be the next best thing to a convertible. Not sure how easy it would be to mod your Z06 to have a removable top.
Insurance and price was lower for the coupe... yet I can still mod my Coupe to be as fast if not faster than a stock Z06 if I really wanted it to and I'd still end up paying less than the car price difference.

I don't know if you appreciate either automobile appearance or performance but if you can look at a Corvette C6 Z06...drive a Corvette C6 Z06 and still ask "why get a Vette?" don't get one! You should look for something else.
