Vin Verification?
OK i tried looking up my VIN to verify year, color, etc. supposedly it is a 2007 but when i went to the Corvette Museum website my VIN was not listed? I have an atomic orange 07 C6 but it lists atomic orange as 83U? Here is my vin 1G1YY25U475116374. Can someone help me decipher exactly what I should have according to my VIN?

The VIN will not tell you the color by itself. The car is definitely a 2007, the 16,374 th one made....just about the middle of the production year. 83U is the code for Atomic Orange and will be shown on the label on the left inside of the glovebox door, along with all other RPO codes for the different options on the car from the factory.

1. "1"= Built in US
2. "G"= General Motors
3. "1"= Chevrolet
4. Denotes the car line: Corvette is a "Y" body.
