I'm still in intensive care from my beating! Like I said before, I belong to an off shore boating forum and over there everyone is friendly and helpfull FROM DAY ONE. You say you have a problem with your Baja boat, you get help and advice....not a bunch of other Baja owners acting like you insulted their mother! There are some really helpful guys onhere and I appreciate the advice. I am swapping out my tires and will order 4 billstien shocks this week. I drive the car everyday and love it, Ill enjoy it even more now.

A meltdown after 83 posts and 2 months?!?!?!
In C6 General?!?!?!?!

I fight with people everyday here. It's just the way it is. Anyone else notice the mods cracking down lately? Thread aren't just locked now; they are deleted.
Well I went to slogo's started threads and saw some interesting things. There seem to be two different types of slogo threads: one that asks for serious information, and gets it; and one that asks questions antagonistically, and gets a like-kind response.

Slogo, you really don't have to "earn" anything on this site, or probably any other. All you have to do is "read" your post, such as the first one on this thread, as if you were the recipient of it. And if you still feel it's not trying to either pizz someone off, or get them to respond in kind, then there's nothing else I can tell you.

Except that from your first 8 or so threads since joining CF, you've asked questions about your C6 on C5 (and still received helpful answers with no negatives), asked questions with a negative attitude, and asked other, seemingly more serious questions with a positive attitude. Guess which ones work best, in your opinion, not mine?

By the way, how do you reach this conclusion?

I went through your post history and saw nothing to indicate that you were "mistreated"...

Brian, refer to AORoads post. Yes, you got the same treatment in your thread for the same reason and it was locked (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...-c6-owner.html). Take the chip off your shoulder.

Sometimes you have to wade through a lot of bs in order to get to the answers you're seeking. That's life.

You can always PM a Forum Member who is attempting to stay on topic and offering useful tips, ideas, informed opinions etc. Most are glad to help if they can.

Corvette ownership brings with it an impassioned point of view. It's one of this Forum's greatest assets.

Probably. Maybe that is why real estate is so cheap down here.

People like you are part of the problem. Read my post again.

Many children come on the forum just to bash the Corvette. My kid sisters boyfriend has a Mustang. He joined the forum (CF) just to stir up trouble.

Some people on the forum exaggerate and some even brag. Some will say they own a business and have big bank accounts. You can basically say anything or be anyone on a forum.

In time people earn some respect. Not from everyone but slowly people get to know you and find out if your for real.

I urge members to go through this thread started by Brian18330.
