Some people on the forum exaggerate and some even brag. Some will say they own a business and have big bank accounts. You can basically say anything or be anyone on a forum.

In time people earn some respect. Not from everyone but slowly people get to know you and find out if your for real.

I never once lied, bragged or misrepresented. Everytime you called me a liar or insulted me I offered you proof. Why would someone waste their time coming on here and stirring up trouble? Your a weirdo. Here I go again proving my young age by letting you bait me into this. I'm so very glad I have things you feel someone would lie about...makes me feel accomplished. Thanks

Slogo, you really don't have to "earn" anything on this site, or probably any other. All you have to do is "read" your post, such as the first one on this thread, as if you were the recipient of it. And if you still feel it's not trying to either pizz someone off, or get them to respond in kind, then there's nothing else I can tell you.

Except that from your first 8 or so threads since joining CF, you've asked questions about your C6 on C5 (and still received helpful answers with no negatives), asked questions with a negative attitude, and asked other, seemingly more serious questions with a positive attitude. Guess which ones work best, in your opinion, not mine?
After you mentioned it, I did the same. Very few times did he get a negative response for all those threads that he started where he had a serious question and asked it without any negative attitude.

One thread (besides this one) where he came out complaining about forum members, he got back what he put in his post.

Slogo, may your next thread reflect what information was imparted to you here today. If you start many more threads like this one, your stay here probably won't be long or pleasant. Almost without exception, the only time you got flak was when you started it.

Default I'm vindicated

I wrote a sincere post and some(most) of the responses (to this thread for example) proved my point.I am not here to argue, fight or brag, but only to learn.Forgive my ignorance. Have it your own way, I just thought better of a selective group of people, but as usual, I was wrong in some of your your eyes. Thank you all, because I am not only learning about C6 Corvettes, but people as well.I joined the forum to learn and after initially reading some of the other posts , realized that there were many people who wanted to cause conflict and I may have been baited, that's true. Most of the responses I have recieved were intelligent and accurate and helpful. For those of you who have read my posts,( to check my validity) did you see the many ones where I thanked everyone for thier help? Please lets be fair to me or I will start to cry.

Fair enough Slogo. Just relax and no need to be so judgemental. In time all will be good.

I NEVER said I was mistreated, I said that it is hard to believe that some people seemingly have to bash others who don't agree with them. Please re read what I have written and try to understand what I am saying. Thank you

Let's stop this crap. Thanks IMHO

Its like a buffet,,,,,,,take what you like and leave the rest. There is sure some prime rib on this site and also spam sandwhiches. Easy to take some posts different then how the poster wanted it to come across.
