Why are people being so vindictive and stupid on this forum?I want to learn and understand about my car and have seen so much BS, It is hard to believe that people who own a very selective car can be so ignorant, I wonder if Veyron owners are that assinine? I thought that if we , as owners were of a very nice automobile, and somewhat expensive, would be in a different group of demography, but am astounded at the pettiness of some people. Let's stop this crap. Thanks IMHO
Take things with a grain of salt. There are good and bad on the forum but mostly good. Just ignore the rest.
I consider myself a normal good ole boy who happens to own a nice car, a couple of nice cars, but I don't let it change who I am. It is only a car when all is said and done. People who let their nice cars determine who they are aren't much fun.

Relax. First you are very new with no profile picture. We do not even know if you even own a Corvette. In time you can earn respect on the forum. But not overnight.

With all due respect it is something a member earns. You could never have everyone respect you or like you. However, not a good idea to be a new member and begin bashing the members of the forum.
A meltdown after 83 posts and 2 months?!?!?!
In C6 General?!?!?!?!
I fight with people everyday here. It's just the way it is. Anyone else notice the mods cracking down lately? Thread aren't just locked now; they are deleted.

You gotta admit, C6 General is a pretty friggin tough crowd.
Thank God for the mods to keep us in line or we probably wouldn't sleep at night...
i think "respectful" treatment does take time to earn, but not necessarily "respect" on the forum. I think it comes down to walking into a room where there's a group of old friends hanging out. You can't expect to be one of the guys right away. Its actually a pretty similar dynamic to real life relationships. The treatment just seems so much more gruff for the simple reason that its written down as opposed to being shrugged off in verbal conversation.
I guess what i'm saying is you have to give it time. show us you want to be our internet friend and we'll show you that we want to be yours. Unfortunately, there still will be total douches on this forum like any other... and even more unfortunate is that negative memories tend to stick out in our minds more than neutral ones. So just try to keep your eye on the nice folks here and ease yourself into this community. We all had to do it.
