Unless you are selling your '08 to someone who has been on this forum for a good while, most prospective Corvette buyers would not know what an NPP muffler was even after you try to explain it to them.
Also, probably half the '08's that came with them no longer have them because of the hundreds like me who have purchased used ones here on this forum.
Before I bought my '05 I had an '02 convertible and ran ZO6 mufflers on it since right after I bought it in '04. When I got ready to sell it earlier this year I removed the C5 ZO6 mufflers and installed the stock ones. I then sold the ZO6 pipes for only $25 less than I paid for them in 2004.
Unless you are selling the car with the build sheet and window sticker the buyer could probably care less since it will have stock exhausts. Remember, the NPPs were an extra option you paid for and since the price of our C6s has already crashed with the rest of the economy, if it were me, I would do the swap because you won't get one extra dollar for your car by leaving the NPPs on it.

I just looked up Kelley Blue Book and Edmonds for 2008 Corvette coupe and I could not find any mention of NPP exhaust. They have most or all other options like Z51, NAV, etc., listed but I could not find NPP.
I have friends in my Corvette club with '08s and I have talked with them about my exhaust and asked them if theirs has NPP and so far no one even knew what I was talking about.
I have even talked to Chevrolet salesmen on the showroom floor standing next to new Corvettes and they didn't know what NPP even stood for or what it was. We, here, on this forum tend to focus in on such details that most people don't know anything about.
Seriously, I don't think putting stock C6 exhaust on your 2008 will diminish its value a dollar but it will save you many hundreds of dollars on your 2007.
