How many miles do you guys travel from your house when you drive your C6. Do you have a boundary or area that your car usually if almost always stays in? My car probably travels in the same four towns most of the time the longest distance being about 15 miles from my house one way and all around that area how about you guys?

No, it's a car.
I drive my DD C6 75 miles (one way) to see my mother every weekend, and, of course, 75 miles back.
Just don't have any reason right now to drive any further. But it wouldn't matter.

It's a car! I drive my 09 on fishing trips for salmon in the summer. 160 miles each way. Cooler full of red salmon, chest waders, and all the assorted fly fishing gear in the back.
Great way to spend a summer day in Alaska

The only time I've ever done that with a car is when the car wasn't running well. Wanted to stay within the AAA towing radius!
The first Summer I picked my car up in California, drove it around for 500 miles, and then drove it back home to the Seattle area.
The next Summer I took a drive to Denver (via Utah), and then back through Yellowstone before heading home.
I bought my Vette because I love driving it!

I guess if I were headed somewhere where there might not be a gas station... But to get to a place like that I'd have to go outside the range of a tank of gas to begin with. I'd love to have a reason to take off *****-nilly across the country in it, but I'll have to manufacture one.

Why wouldn't you drive it anywhere that you would drive any other car? Mine is a DD and I drive it wherever I need to go. I drive 50 miles round trip to work and enjoy taking it on long drives.

I recently picked up a 2008 Z51 Coupe and am enjoying her and driving as much as possible!
Get in your Corvette and drive, drive, drive!

Got up on a recent Saturday morning, checked the weather forecast and did a spur of the moment drive from the Washington DC area to Ann Arbor to visit my brother--back the next day in my 08 Z06. The drive was great almost 1000 miles RT--average 27+ mpg.

I have an automatic fuel shutoff hooked up that will stop the car if I exceed 25 miles. I then have to physically turn the car around so it points back to my house. When the car senses a 360 degree turn, the fuel shutoff disengages so I can then drive back home.
I just don't know what would happen to the car if the shutoff malfunctioned and I went beyond that point. The whole idea of going more than 25 miles away from my house really scares me and, I'm afraid, could prove disastrous for the car.
(Don't take this too seriously.)
