Corvette forum rules over others
As a member of this form for years, and a past owner of numerous vettes, I have found that the Corvette forum and it's members are 10 times better than other forums. As many know, I sold my C6 and bought BMW and even though I love the new car, the other forums seem to just stink. They don't have much "real" knowledge about their cars(as this form does) and it seems like their are more "kids" or at least young people that follow the other forms. Most of the threads seem to be "kill stories' or "look at my new spoiler" threads. Anyway, I miss the good tech talk and knowledge about the car, A forum should have like this one! You guys got it made! Later...

I have been a member of the Forum since 2005 but probably started reading the Forum in 2000 or earlier. The knowledge base here is unbelievable. Just ask a question and 20 people know the answer.

I am on a number of vehicle forums from cars and trucks to motorcycles. All but one match this one for help. On the Rune (Honda motorcycle) forum a question will get a prompt response with service manual diagrams and instructions. A large % of Rune owners are engineers.
The least helpful is the Viper Club of America forum if you are not a paying member you won't get much help.

I was recently looking in some Ford forums for similar issues to a vehicle I was helping someone with. I was surprised that in each case, very few people were able to help others and very little information from Ford itself. Here, we know that Bowling Green pays attention to this forum and a lot of very knowledgeable owners. We all freely trade information and help anyone here. LOL, have we noticed too that some dealers and mechanics are posting here looking to help their customers? I've seen the posts, so I'm sure everyone else has too. This says a lot about all of us here.

yes it does A lot of immaturity and constant smart @$$, bashing, poking fun at, etc happens on other forums.. ive been chief moderator and now admin of the first f body forum on the net, jan. 1997...........back in the day.. you guys wont believe how bad it got.. now its toned down cause so many f body forums exist.. the gto forum has gotten pretty bad lately... as the cars decline and get sold to younger buyers... the Solstice forums are not too bad, and the Solstice gxp forum is slow, but the folks there are pretty much right behind the ones here..... but this forum ranks the top on any I have ever been on bar none. kudo's to 98% of you.......

Corvette Forum Rocks
Although I visit other forums for various reasons, I've come to realize that it's not just the commonality we share as Corvette owners, but the passion of true enthusiasts galore which I find here that makes the Corvette Forum interesting, helpful, educational, recreational and downright fun to be a part of. Corvette Forum rocks!

Interesting thread and points.
We have a couple of guys in here from one of the ricer forums.
And you can definitely tell from some of their posts in here, that's where they came from.

No matter what, the forum is always fun and full of great info. At some point no matter how much you disagree with another member on some things at some point you find common ground. I cannot imagine a forum where everyone agrees. Well at least in America.

The success of this Forum is really not surprising since the corvette has been with us since 1953 and corvette owners run the entire age range from teens to 80s. Tremendous member support from all ages and walks of life.

The Corvette Forum is a tremendous resource for all things Corvette and reflects well on the Corvette community as a whole! I'm constantly learning and often being entertained in the process. There's a certain amount of misinformation herein but that's to be expected with any forum. My experience on other forums is limited but it's simple...if you don't like it you move on.
