I printed out the complete manual and read it cover to cover, twice.
But I can't blame people for losing interest during the first 59 pages of how to wear a seat belt.

Guess the OP has not owned a "new" vehicle in awhile. Heck, even my '01 F150 displays that message!

I never saw the "Ice Possible" message on my 02 C5 vert and I owned the car almost 5 years. Maybe that was not new enough.

Mine used to say that but not any more. Oh wait, that's because I moved south.

I'm filing a discrimination lawsuit against GM.
Where I live I should see a DIC warning, "It's too damn hot. Put the top up!"
Oh... Maybe I should be smart enough to figure that out for myself. Like icy conditions...

I thought it was a warning that the wife might be in a bad mood.

Most cars now a days will do this, from the new BMWs to my 02 F-250. Just a friendly little warning to let you know the possibility of freezing water.

BMWs have had this message for a lot years. I think my 88 7 series car had it if my memory serves me correctly.
I think this message is displayed on my DIC in the Vette at 36 or 37F,
IMHO, waiting til 32F to throw this message would be a bit too late for the conditions.
