My 2005 was recalled and the roof was replaced reusing the existing clamps in 2006. I did not participate in the gluing TSB. I guess only time will tell whats going on.
This is old news
I thought this roof delaminating problem was something dealers repaired a few years ago??? I have a few friends that have had their roofs repaired by the dealer and paid by GM at least 2 years ago...
You could have just clicked on his link and seen that the blog is dated 12/18/09, so this appears to be a new recall. Notice they're not saying their going to fix the roofs which is what they tried to do before, but rather replace them.
A Colorado Springs dealer replaced mine (2006) last September after the car sat out 3 days in the sun while visiting. It is in a garage here in Arizona normally. Many in Phoenix had theirs replaced way before I did as it is much hotter there...all due to too large a coefficient of expansion difference between the priginal top material and it's metal frame. Yes the dealer did the headliner glue recall which did not do the job.
This was an issue with Z06s also...not just removeable roof panels.....but it was an issue that came to light in 2006...
Had a friend's Z06 lose his roof panel at 70mph...fortunately no one got killed by it.

There are a couple of guys in the Z06 forum that have had their roofs delaminate a couple of times, even after the fix. My bet is this is a new recall to address those out there that got the roofs "fixed", but they still have problems..
What site can I goto to enter my VIN to see if its affected? www.nhtsa.dot.gov nor www.safercar.gov doesnt list the Corvette (at all).
Only database by VIN is GMs database. The Corvette is certainly in the NHTSA database. Click here for the Safety Recall database. The original recall from 2006 is listed. This latest (if it really is a new recall) is not yet listed, as the recall has not yet been issued.
